Shimla Craft Gin has officially won Silver Prize at the London Spirits Competition (LSC) held in London March 22-24 2023.

The results were announced today and of course have filled us with delight and pride.  The LSC is a very prestigious international competition, with high calibre spirts across many categories being submitted for judgement.

The LSC was the very first competition for which we entered Shimla Gin, so to win here, first time around, is amazing.

In the judges’ view, Shimla Gin is “a premium craft gin with flavors and aromas of coriander, orris, nutmeg and liquorice on nose and palate with a smooth floral finish.”

Talwinder Patara, founder and creator of Shimla Gin happily said when he heard the news that “we all knew here in Birmingham that Shimla Gin is a very special gin, with an unique flavour derived from the Indian botanicals we use.  Renowned, specialist judges from London have decided so also, and so now the whole world can enjoy our special gin.  As we say – Inspired by India, made in England.”
